Singaporean X Factor Australia standout Natalie Ong premieres confident new single 'Get Gold' — watch

If you recall, 2016 was kind of a big year for Singaporeans making waves on international reality TV singing competitions. First there was Nathan Hartono and his resulting Milo van craze - and then was was 15-year-old Natalie Ong on The X Factor Australia.

Competing in the Under-22 category on season eight of the show, Natalie earned high praise from judges like first Australian Idol winner Guy Sebastian, Iggy Azalea and Adam Lambert - alongside the adoration of viewers at home.

Subsequently, Natalie has returned back to home soil and performed a number of shows in recent months. Still soaring from her wave of momentum, the fledging singer is now ready to unveil her new single entitled 'Get Gold'.

Produced by  Josh Wei (frequent collaborator of Gentle Bones, Sam Rui and Linying), the new track is a sterling and confident pop showcase that features her voice in a refreshing electronic and alt-R&B context.
