Parokya Ni Edgar give back to roadies, staff, and drivers at Thanksgiving/Christmas show

Parokya Ni Edgar know how to take care of their people.

On Monday (11/26), the Filipino rock act threw a Thanksgiving/Christmas gig dubbed Me Love You Long Set... at 12 Monkeys in Ortigas, where they give their talent fee and tips to their roadies and drivers as an early Christmas bonus.

"They are the ones who make sure that all our equipment and instruments work and sound well and also make sure that we arrive at our gigs safely," the band writes in a statement on Facebook.

In the post, the 'Lagi Mong Tatandaan' act thank their crew for their "dedication to their work," adding that they go to airports and venues ahead of the band to make sure everything goes on without a hitch.

"We don't consider our roadies, staff, and drivers as employees. We consider them as family," the band says. "So this gesture is just a simple way of showing the band's gratitude for all the hard work, blood, sweat, and tears, they have given to make sure that you, our fans, listeners, followers, and haters get to experience one hell of a show!"

Parokya Ni Edgar recently performed at Pinoy Music Jam in Dubai with SandwichBen&Ben, and Autotelic.
