After canceling last year's edition, Fuji Rock Festival is back!

Following a quiet year for music festivals worldwide, the Japanese rock festival is returning for a live event this August. In an announcement made last month, Fuji Rock confirmed that they will be hosting a live festival but unlike previous editions, this year will only feature local Japanese acts and implement an array of COVID-19 regulations.

"Fuji Rock Festival will work to hold a 'special Fuji Rock under special circumstances' at Naeba this summer by implementing heightened health and safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 so everyone can enjoy the festival in a safe and secured environment," says the festival organising committee, in an official statement.

Fuji Rock 2021 will be held on 20 - 22 August at Naeba Ski Resort

The three-day festival will feature a star-studded lineup of Japanese acts including, CHAI, King Gnu, SIRUP, RADWIMPS, Kan Sano, TENDRE, Man With A Mission, Awesome City Club, AJICO, 5lack, and many more.

As part of their security and safety measures, the festival will limit the number of people allowed to enter the festival grounds and will impose several social distancing regulations, as well as urge attendees to wear a face mask.
