Singapore-based MC REQ made a pretty splash earlier this year with his debut EP Against All Odds. Combining his UK upbringing with newfound Asian roots, the fledging rapper deftly crafted unique take on grime with his stellar five-track effort.

Hot on the heels of that success, REQ now returns with a brand new single entitled 'Back With A Bang’.

"This was a chance for me to showcase what I can do on a grime record. I’m immensely proud at how grime music has managed to spread to listeners in Singapore. This is my chance to contribute to its growth," the rapper explains.

Indeed, this new track is pure, unadulterated grime, showcasing all of the genre's hard-hitting hallmarks. REQ finds himself absolutely in his element here, flourishing with versatile flow and urgent verses.

Produced by Shorya Sharma at AOR Studios, 'Back With A Bang' is the lead single from REQ's upcoming Sleeping Giant EP dropping in early May.
