TVXQ's U-Know releases second mini-album Noir

Cassiopeia, mark your calendars because U-Know's comeback is nearly upon us.

In a tweet via their official Twitter page on 4 January, TVXQ confirmed that the South Korean singer-songwriter will be releasing his second mini-album Noir on 18 January (Monday).

Noir's title and the black and white first teaser image for it, in which U-Know aptly dons an all-black outfit, seem to suggest that the 34-year-old's latest project will be conceptually different from his first mini album True Colors.

A veteran of the South Korean music scene, U-Know, whose real name is Jung Yun-ho, has been making music with TVXQ since it began as a quintet in 2003.

Following the departures of Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun and Xiah Junsu in 2010, TVXQ became a duo comprising U-Know and Max Changmin. The duo's latest appearance was at SM Entertainment's SMTOWN Live "Cultural Humanity" concert on 1 January.
