Viu has released its first Filipino original musical series, Still, this November.
Created by Palanca-awardee Pat Valera together with theater industry greats Giancarlo Abrahan and Nicco Manalo, Still is an eight-episode series that follows the story of up-and-coming artists making their way through Daloy Himig, a music camp that abruptly ends when the pandemic hits. Due to the lockdowns set on the country, the campers are left with their music in Balay.
We are all STILL here –– and this is our story.

"We are extremely honored and thrilled to be working with such a talented team that has produced a musical we hope impresses the world over," Arianne Kader-Cu, Country Head of Viu Philippines, shares in a statement. "The story itself is relevant and we believe that STILL will resonate with all of us who have gone through this pandemic. We can’t wait for our Viu-ers to have access to STILL and get to know and love the characters, be hooked on the storyline, and sing their hearts out to the beautiful original soundtrack featured in the program."
The series, directed by Treb Monteras II with multi-awarded screenwriter Monster Jiminez, will premiere on the video streaming platform this 26 November (Friday). It premiered first on Ticket2Me last weekend.
