MMI Live has been bringing top international acts to Manila over the past 5 years. From pop icon Madonna to THE boy band of this generation, One Direction, the concert promoter has consistently been upping their game with every new show announcement. This year, they're finally flying in the band that has been on practically every concert goer's wish list: Coldplay.
MMI Live have also gone from solo concerts to indoor music festivals, starting with 3LOGYinManila with The Vamps, Before You Exit and The Tide. The first edition of In The Mix, held last year, featured performances by The 1975, Panic at the Disco, James Bay, Third Eye Blind, Elle King and Twin Pines. The 2nd installment, happening on August 17, will feature comeback kids 5 Seconds of Summer, the long-awaited Manila debut of indie rock trio Two Door Cinema Club, Swedish songstress Zara Larsson, and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Daya.
This weekend, Manila's premiere concert promoter debuted the first episode of #RPassLive. The new series will feature backstage access to MMI Live's concerts, with owner Rhiza Pascua and her daughter, Isabella, asking artists some fan questions and showing musicians in a more laid-back and casual environment, pre-show.
The pilot episode stars Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes. Watch him answer fan questions here:
