Fresh off their invigorating Redux project, featuring live and rearranged interpretations of popular songs from their previous full-length album The Violet Hour (recorded in Leonard Soosay's the famed Snakeweed Studios), MONSTER CAT are finally set to unveil their latest proper studio single in the form of '4AM'.

Available today on Spotify, iTunes and all major digital services, the standout, slow-burning alt-rock track also comes paired with a wondrous and surreal visual, produced in collaboration with acclaimed illustration artist Annie Hung. Filled with bizarre animated characters, this music video follows their fragile outlines as they are plunged deep into "a rabbit hole of anxiety, frustration and escape."

As lead singer and frontman Wang Wei Yang elaborates, “The idea for a '4AM' music video was brewing for the longest time and it all clicked in my head when I saw a few of Annie’s videos. The childlike quality and humour in her work perfectly compliments the song’s heavy, psychic turmoil in a kind of absurd, existentialist way. She has a very pure form of expression and I think this collaboration taps into that.”

And as a special bonus, the single release also features an outstanding B-side remix, crafted by none other than 2015's breakout experimental electronic producer - blankverse.
