ARASHI and Bruno Mars to hold special web event, Behind the Scenes of ‘Whenever You Call’

ARASHI are offering fans more virtual content this December. 

In a tweet this afternoon (09/11), the popular J-pop group has announced a special talk session with singer-songwriter Bruno Mars, the producer behind their new song ‘Whenever You Call’. As of press time, their first English single has amassed over 13 million views on YouTube.

Titled Behind the Scenes of ‘Whenever You Call’, the event will feature a performance of their new hit alongside the exclusive interview. A website counting down to the event, together with more information, has also been launched.

The stream will be available to fans in the US, Taiwan, Thailand, Korea, Singapore, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines, from 17 to 20 December. Designated time slots for each region can be found here.

Tickets are available at 1,200 JPY (US$11.52) starting today until 18 December. Here’s how to get them, and how to watch the stream:

  1. Visit the eplus website here. Click on “buy now”, followed by checking out with the number of tickets you want to purchase.
  2. Wait for your streaming URL and password, which will be sent to you on a later date.
  3. At the streaming link on the day of the event, enter the details sent to you to access the stream.

Just in November, ARASHI celebrated their 21st anniversary with their 17th studio album, This is 嵐 (This is ARASHI). In place of their May 2020 arena concert, the group also held a live stream, ARAFES 2020, from the Japan National Stadium in Shinjuku, Tokyo. 

Following Behind the Scenes of ‘Whenever You Call’, ARASHI will also be due to appear at their New Year’s Eve concert, This is ARASHI Live. It will be available for live streaming globally and is said to be part of their 21st-anniversary celebrations.
