It's been a busy 24 hours for BTS and ARMY as talks of a "hiatus" and going solo took over headlines across the globe.

The news was first revealed at last night's (14/06) Bangtan Festa 2022 Dinner on YouTube where the members talked about working on their solo music for a bit. In a statement by SUGA at the dinner, the English subtitles originally read: "We're going on hiatus now," which sparked the "hiatus" talk. The video's subtitles now read "We're taking a temporary break now."

BTS wear their hearts on their sleeves as they wrap up 9 years of music and friendship in 'PROOF' – album review

After BIGHIT MUSIC clarified earlier today (15/06) that the GRAMMY-nominated act will be continuing group activities while simultaneously pursuing their solo endeavours.

On 15 June, Jungkook went on VLive to assure ARMY (fans of BTS) that "BTS is forever" and reiterated that they will not be disbanding. In true Jungkook VLive fashion, the 'Euphoria' singer also held another "mini-concert" and performed numerous songs for ARMY such as PSY and SUGA's 'That That,' 'Jin's 'Super Tuna,' '12:30' by BEAST (now known as HIGHLIGHT), and his 2022 Song For ARMY, 'My You'.
