The BTS Meal arrives in Indonesia: ARMY thank essential workers amidst disruptions at McDonald's outlets

The much-awaited rollout of the BTS meal continues across the globe, and it has finally arrived in Indonesia today (9/6)

Similar to their Malaysian counterparts, Indonesian ARMY (BTS fans) gathered to prepare gift packs for McDonald's crew members as a token of appreciation for their hard work.

Because the meal was only available via drive-thru or delivery, ARMY also anticipated the surge in demand for food delivery riders, and many prepared thank-you cards and gifts in advance.

As of 10 June, a donation campaign to support riders in this hectic period had crossed 151 million rupiah (S$14,031). According to the The Jakarta Post, this amount surpasses the original goal of 107 million rupiah (S$9,942), just two days within the campaign's launch.
