GFRIEND are making their comeback this November with a new album.

The South Korean girl group made the announcement that they will be releasing a new album titled :WALPURGIS NIGHT on 9 November. This is the third of the series following ‘Labyrinth’ in February and ‘Song of the Sirens’ in July.

On 23 October, a comeback checklist showcasing the promotional schedule was shared with fans, teasers will be consistently dropped till their official comeback on 9 November, when the music video and the album will drop simultaneously.

GFRIEND’s agency, Source Music, unveiled the official tracklist on 25 October which consists of eleven tracks. Every member was involved in the production process of the forthcoming album, with Eunha, Yuju, and Umji having roles in making the title track, ‘MAGO’.


RELEASE OF :WALPURGIS NIGHT

GFRIEND officially dropped their third studio album, :WALPURGIS NIGHT, on 9 November along with the music video of their lead single 'MAGO'.

To celebrate the release, the girl group will also be holding a special comeback show via V LIVE today (9/11) at 8pm KST (7pm SG/PH/MY Standard Time) or (6pm TH/ID Standard Time). Tune in here


This marks the first time the group will be releasing unit tracks since their debut. Yerin and Sinb’s 'Secret Diary', Sowon and Umji’s 'Better Me' and Yuju and Eunha’s 'Night Drive' are all described to show the different charms of GFRIEND. 

At the forefront of the production, founder of Big Hit Entertainment, Bang Si Hyuk, better known as “hitman” bang, contributed to the lyrics and production for songs such as ‘Love Spell’, ‘Apple’, and more.

Famed K-pop producer FRANTS, who primarily produces for JYP artists such as TWICE and GOT7, also worked on the new album.

:WALPURGIS NIGHT comes in three versions ‘My Girls', ‘My Way’, and ‘My Room’. Fans can now pre-order the album via KTown4u, HotTracks, Global Interpark, and WithDrama
