JAY B to release highly anticipated debut solo EP 'SOMO:FUME', features collaborations with MAMAMOO's Wheein, Jay Park, and more

H1GHR MUSIC soloist and GOT7 member JAY B will be releasing his long-awaited debut EP this August!

According to Warner Music Thailand, the seven-track project is due out 26 August. It will include his debut solo single 'Switch It Up', as well as a few guest appearances. 

In an announcement made on 16 August, H1GHR MUSIC revealed that JAY B's EP is titled SOMO:FUME, a name he's been teasing on Instagram over the last couple of weeks.

The EP is said to include six tracks with an extra song exclusive to the physical CD, all featuring collaborations. More details are expected to drop soon.

Days ahead of the EP release, JAY B unveiled that the record will feature collaborations with the likes of MAMAMOO's Wheein, Jay Park, JUNNY, g1nger, GroovyRoom, and GRAY. This is in addition to his debut single which featured sokodomo and Cha Cha Malone.

In an earlier interview with Bandwagon, JAY B already hinted at possible collaborations with other artists from his label. "My first goal in H1GHR MUSIC is to collaborate with other H1GHR MUSIC artIsts and blend well into their synergy," he said. "Since it is a fresh start, I want you to expect it as it is. I’ll try my best to not let you down," shared the musician about 'Switch It Up'.
