Japanese band toe launch Music Unites Against COVID-19 for the benefit of music venues affected by pandemic

toe have launched a new fundraising initiative to help out local music venues struggling during the pandemic.

The Japanese math-rock heroes teamed up with more than 70 artists to raise funds for small music venues in need across Japan through Music Unites Against COVID-19. The website gives donors access to previously unreleased music, demons, live versions of crowd favorites, and rare tracks by the acts who've donated their music for the cause.

Music by the likes of LITE, Hitomitoi, mouse on the keys, and Sawagi, who have visited Manila with toe in past years, envy, the HIATUS, Tokyo Jihen, Takkyu Ishino, and Scha Dara Parr are available through the initiative.

Fans may choose which venue they wish their donations (of at least ¥500 or approx. PHP 235) would go to. Whatever the amount, they will be given access to the music folder, which will be available for unlimited streaming until end of June 2020.
