The internet has once again brought two artists together.

Cameroonian-American artist Vagabon teamed up with Filipina DJ and producer Pamcy for a fresh new remix of her track 'Water Me Down.' While they live in opposite parts of the world, the two internet pen pals made some magic happen over their shared love of raw music gems and Bandcamp.

Pamcy tells Bandwagon that she previously found her single 'Goya Coin' as part of Vagabon's Spotify playlist, Vagabops. "A few months back, I tagged her on my Instagram story of her Spotify playlist with my track on it, and then she messaged me back to tell me that she's into my music. She asked me if I could remix 'Water Me Down' and I was more than happy to do it for her because I love her work."

She adds that the 'Water Me Down' remix was "definitely one of [her] favorite projects so far." She says, "Eventually, we became internet pen pals and we discussed the project and other ideas through email and WhatsApp. [...] I can only hope that what we're both doing as musicians will empower people like us to continue fighting the good fight."
