BANDWAGON TV

Titled "Hello" the highly-anticipated project from the vocalist arrived at 6PM KST (7PM SGT) on 31 May.

TRACKLIST

Instead of featuring brand-new tracks, Hello comprises six popular classics from the 1990s and 2000s that have been reimagined by Joy, or Park Soo-young. The album's title track, 'Hello', is a modern rock remake of Park Hyekyung's 2003 song of the same name.

MUSIC VIDEOS

To accompany the album's release, a music video for the title track 'Hello' was uploaded to Red Velvet's official YouTube channel.

A special live music video for 'Je T'aime' had previously been released alongside the track on 26 May.

TEASERS

In the lead-up to Hello's release, SM Entertainment shared a number of teasers with fans. Check out some of them below:

PHYSICAL ALBUM

Aside from being available on streaming platforms, Hello also comes in three different physical versions — Cassette, Case, and Photobook. They can be purchased via the SM Global Shop

With the release of her remake album, the 25-year-old has become the second member of Red Velvet to launch a career as a solo artist in 2021. In April, fellow groupmate Wendy released her five-track solo debut mini-album Like Water.

Aside from making music with Red Velvet, Joy has also contributed her own renditions of popular songs to the soundtracks of television series such as Hospital Playlist and The Liar and His Lover. The singer remade Basis' 'Introduce Me A Good Person' for the former and The Classic's 'Yeowooya' for the latter.
