SB19 are back with their new single, 'MAPA'.
The follow-up to 'WHAT?' the new track is a tribute to their parents who have helped shape who they are today. In an interview with Bandwagon, Pablo shares: "With our mapa—our map—we will never get lost. This time sila naman ang magpapahinga. Kami naman ang magtatrabaho for them."
On Mother's Day weekend, the group shared letters for their parents with #DEARMaPa. A'TIN (fans of SB19) also took part in the campaign, by writing their own notes for their mothers and fathers.
The group worked with Canada-based Filipino Simon Servida for both 'WHAT?' and 'MAPA' and has described his collaborations with SB19 as "easily one of the most challenging projects I've ever had to work on".
To celebrate the release of their latest single, the 'Alab' act will be hosting a MAPA Showcase on 18 May, 7 PM PHT via their official YouTube channel, Facebook page, and LazLive.
SB19 are nominated for Top Social Artist at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards alongside global pop stars BTS, BLACKPINK, SEVENTEEN, and Ariana Grande. Find out how to vote here.
