IMC Live Global and *SCAPE are set to present urban sonic, a two-weekend music festival that will feature Singaporean indie, punk, and ska bands as well as hip-hop acts. Rooted in emo and math rock, CURB which was formed in early 2021 may be a relatively new band but they have ample performing experience under their belt as members Sam and Lucas have played regularly with notable independent musicians such as Krysta Joy, Subsonic Eye and The Cosmic Owls, among others.
The trio has plans to debut their music at the start of 2022 in the form of two distinct EPs entitled Spit Take and Splash Zones, both of which highlight the different inspirations they draw upon—who knows, they might even showcase their new material during this gig.

The Six Sounds led by saxophonist Sean Hong Wei will feature musicians Weixiang Tan on trumpet, Nicole Duffell on tenor saxophone, Aaron James Lee on drums, Matthew Tan on piano, and Ben Poh on double bass. The sextet will offer an electrifying evening of hard-swinging, blues-drenched numbers inspired by groups such as The Cannonball Adderley Quintet, The Clifford Brown, and the Max Roach Quintet.
