88rising, home to the likes of Rich Brian, NIKI, Joji, and Higher Brothers, has joined forces with Philippine telecommunications company, Globe, to launch "a new music collective representing the next wave of artists from the Philippines" - PARADISE RISING.
The new label will make its debut with their first mixtape, semilucent, featuring Kiana V, Massiah, Jason Dhakal, Leila Alcasid, and Fern on streaming services on July 31 (Friday).
In a press release, 88rising founder Sean Miyashiro shares, “The Philippines and music go hand in hand, and there is such vibrancy in the way talented young artists are emerging, and such a massive audience in love with music. We want to support their voices, help them be heard, and bring music from the Philippines to a global audience."
