On 4 December, the BTS member is turning 29 (international age) and what's a birthday without gifts. In true ARMY fashion, fans are going over and beyond to celebrate the singer – who is lovingly dubbed as 'Worldwide Handsome'. From "JINerous" donations to concert fan projects to large billboards, ARMY all over the world are banding together to show Jin their love and support on his special day.

MOON FAN PROJECT

With BTS currently stationed in Los Angeles to perform at their sold-out 4-night residency at SoFi Stadium, fans knew there was no better way to celebrate Jin's birthday than with Jin himself.

BANDWAGON TV

On the last day (2 December) of their PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE in LA concerts, some ARMY have organised a special fan project where they cover their ARMY Bomb Lighsticks or cellphone flashlights with a moon to surprise the BTS member.

Billboards

There is just something so exciting about suddenly spotting your bias on a billboard as you go about your day. In the world of K-pop birthdays, billboards have become a staple gift, ranging from subway displays to large murals on a building.

For Jin, ARMY have pulled all the stops with 'Worldwide Handsome' plastered everywhere from buses in Seoul to giant billboards in Times Square, New York.

Charity Projects

Jin, and the entirety of BTS, have always been about love and care and in return, ARMY are giving that same love and care to those in need.

From providing assistance programs to those who suffer from eating disorders to raising funds for migrant youths and animal shelters, fans have put together fundraisers and donation drives to help those in need while also celebrating the 'Yours' act.

Feeling JINerous @ 30"!

In the last UNGA, Jin called the youth the "Welcome Generation." Refusing to refer to the youth as "lost," he said that "we will be a generation that welcomes change."

For this fundraiser, we chose to help the migrant youth ministry of the Salesians of Don Bosco! Check the pictures for more details.

Social media projects

If there's anything that Jin has taught us, it's self-love. So, in very Jin-like fashion, ARMY are spreading a wave of positivity with a project called #ImTheOneIShouldLove where they're encouraging everyone to talk about themselves, from their hobbies to how they practice self-care.

Writers' Guide

Ever wondered how to publish a book or just simply get your writing out there, don't worry - ARMY's got your back. For Jin's birthday, ARMY writers have come together to put together an event where you can learn everything you need to know about putting out web novels.

BTS will perform at SoFi Stadium this 1 - 2 December for the last stretch of their sold-out PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE in LA concerts. The last show (3 December) will be livestreamed globally via VenewLive, tickets can be purchased via Weverse Shop
