The signs were there, but now it's set in stone: after 21 years, Foo Fighters will finally make their grand return to Singapore in 2017.
The band were previously confirmed to perform in Japan and Bangkok, and now concert organizers Unusual Entertainment — the first ones in Singapore to go public — have announced a show for Singapore.
Foo Fighters will perform at the National Stadium on August 26th.
Dave Grohl and co. were originally meant to perform in Singapore on March 2, 2012, a show that was mercilessly cancelled. Five years later, they're living up to their promise to come back. The band announced the show on Facebook, along with dates in Seoul and Bangkok.
Tickets will go on sale on May 23rd, 10AM through Sports Hub Tix — priced at S$238 (standing), S$168 (standing), S$238, S$198, S$168, S$128 (excluding $4 booking fee), this show could go in the way of Coldplay, so don't sleep.
EDIT: Unusual has created a link for the Foo Fighters ticket sales — which isn't officially up yet — so bookmark this link for May 23rd.
