BLACKPINK have announced 4+1 PROJECT for their upcoming fifth anniversary!

According to the official website, BLINKs (fans of BLACKPINK) can look forward to five special projects lined up from August as they celebrate half a decade together with the K-pop powerhouses. 


4+1 PROJECT

On 15 June, BLACKPINK first took to social media to unveil a mysterious teaser with the titlecard: "5th ANNIVERSARY / 4+1 PROJECT".

BLACKPINK THE MOVIE

On 16 June, BLACKPINK revealed that they will also be releasing a film, BLACKPINK THE MOVIE, as part of the 4+1 PROJECT. It's scheduled to premiere on 4 August in over 100 territories, including Singapore, the United States, Australia, Hong Kong, and more. Check out the full list here.

BLACKPINK THE MOVIE will be the group's second film after 2020's Light Up The Sky documentary on Netflix. It features nostalgic recaps of the pop titans' journey since 2015, along with special never-seen-before interviews. Additionally, BLACKPINK THE MOVIE will screen performances from their past concerts, such as this year's BLACKPINK: THE SHOW and the 2018 IN YOUR AREA tour. 


THE ALBUM Limited Edition Photobook

BLACKPINK will also be releasing a special photobook on 9 August that's designed by the members themselves. Priced at USD 25, It features 208 pages of behind-the-scenes photos from THE ALBUM, and will only be available in limited quantities.  

Additionally, pre-orders for the photobook come with a [4+1] Special Gift Case, which contains a "double-sided history poster set, a sticker set, and a photocard set." The gift case will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-orders begin on 7 July via the YG Select store here.


BLACKPINK Joins Weverse

As part of the 4+1 PROJECT, the 'Lovesick Girls' act will also be joining fan community platform Weverse on 2 August, and BLINKs can look forward to connecting with the girls on a new level. BLACKPINK will be the third YG Entertainment group to open a Weverse account after TREASURE and iKON.

BLACKPINK 4+1 POP-UP

To celebrate BLACKPINK's anniversary, the group will be holding a pop-up store from 21 - 30 August. In compliance with COVID-19 measures, online registration is required to enter the store. Further registration and store details will be announced later this week. 

The pop-up store will be held at 6-3 Huiujeong-ro 1-gil, Mago-gu, Seoul.
