BANDWAGON TV

"We’re so happy to announce a new collab with D’Sound and amazing Armi Millare," Kim Ofstad and Jonny Sjo tell Bandwagon exclusively. "We had some beautiful days together here in Norway and worked in a studio downtown Oslo with @mogillamusic in his studio. Mogilla came up with this hooky piano vibe with chords and melody as a magic base for us to take off on."

They recall their days working on 'Run for Cover' with Millare in Norway, saying, "Armi was on fire writing and came up with some deep and touching lyrics. The vibe in the studio was intense in a very positive and inspiring way. The cool thing about working together with Armi is that she is constantly thinking ahead, producing, writing, and arranging on the spot! Things moved fast in the studio when we literally were on the same wave and produced the song together."

D'Sound describe their latest collab with Millare as "important both musically and personally." They add, "Armi triggers the original D’Sound vibe, her lyrics are comforting and uplifting and her personality is humble but yet very subtle and clear."

Millare and D'Sound previously collaborated on 2019's 'Somewhere in Between' and 2018's 'Lykkelig'.

Ahead of the release of 'Run for Cover', Millare made her solo debut with 'Kapit' off the Alone/Together soundtrack. She also previously worked with Japanese soul act Ovall on the track 'Transcend' and shared the stage with IV Of Spades for a special mashup of 'Mundo' and 'Indak' on their co-headlining U.S. tour.
