GOT7's JAY B signs with H1GHR Music, announces new single 'Switch It Up'

JAY B joins the H1GHR Music family!

In a video published today (11/05), the Korean hip-hop label welcomes the GOT7 member as their newest artist. JAY B now joins acts like pH-1, Sik-K, GSoul, BIG Naughty, and more. 

In a statement on Instagram, JAY B writes, "I'm so happy to be able to show you my music with HIGHR Music even though I'm worried about it. Thank you to the fans who have been waiting for me and thank you to those who are looking to forward me."

H1GHR MUSIC also revealed that JAY B will drop a new single on 14 May at 6 PM KST (4 PM JKT, 5 PM SGT/PHT). 

In a teaser posted on 12 May, H1GHR Music revealed that JAY B's new single is called 'Switch It Up'. 

This track will serve as the singer's first release since ENCORE alongside his fellow GOT7 members following their departure from JYP Entertainment earlier this year.

JAY B first debuted in 2012 as an actor and consequently as a performer in the duo JJ Project, alongside his fellow member Jinyoung before joining GOT7 in 2014. Alongside performing as part of the group, he has also produced an array of tracks under the alias Def., and joined the R&B artist collective OFFSHØRE. 

JAY B is the latest GOT7 member to join a new agency, following Mark Tuan who joined Creative Artists Agency, Jinyoung who joined BH EntertainmentYugyeom who joined AOMG, BamBam who joined ABYSS Company, and Jackson Wang and Youngjae who both joined Sublime Artist Agency
