The season of online concerts rages on as Japanese summer concert series a-nation goes online.

Previously featuring top artists from the region like BLACKPINK, Hitomi, AAA, BoA, SHINee, Kumi Koda, and TVXQ, a-nation is an annual concert series organised by Japan's biggest independent label, Avex Group. Held in various cities all throughout the country, the concert usually takes place every weekend of August. However, in the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, a-nation is taking their summer fun and performances online.

a-nation Online 2020 is slated to take place on 29 August. Much like its previous runnings, this year's edition will feature some of the hottest names in Asian music, with SuperM, SKY-HI, DA PUMP, Red Velvet, EXO-SC, Super Junior, Ayumi Hamasaki, and more scheduled to perform. This would be J-pop queen Ayumi Hamasaki's 13^th time performing at a-nation, while it would be K-pop supergroups SUPER JUNIOR's 5^th stint at the concert series. EXO and Red Velvet are also set to return to the a-nation stage, after outstanding performances in 2018.
