EXO's D.O. releases long awaited solo debut mini-album, 'Empathy' — listen

Titled Empathy, the long awaited mini-album is due out 26 July, 6 PM KST (5PM SGT/PHT). It contains eight songs in total, including the title track 'Rose'.

While D.O. has previously released songs like 'That's okay' for SM STATION and 'Crying out' for the Cart OST, Empathy will be his official debut as a solo artist. He follows other EXO members who have also gone solo, including Baekhyun, Kai, Lay, and Chen

Empathy will be available in two editions: Photobook Version (USD 36/SGD 49) and Digipack Version (USD 28/SGD38). You can pre-order it from 1 July onwards here.

On 17 July, UP Music's Joseph Park—who goes by his producer name 220—shared the mood sampler and tagged DAY6's Jae, as well as Danish songwriter and producer Andreas Ringblom with the caption: "Them guitars on the first teaserrrr."

On 21 July, it was also revealed that D.O. himself contributed the lyrics for 'Rose' and the B-side 'I'm Fine'.
