The 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards are back!

Here's how to watch the 2021 MTV EMAs

Celebrating and honouring some of the best names in music, the coveted awards show is returning this year live from Hungary. Happening at the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna in Budapest, 2021 MTV EMAs will be happening on 14 November at 9 PM CET . The show will be broadcast live through MTV Channels, including MTV Asia on 15 November at 3 AM JKT, 4 AM SGT/PHT, 5 AM KST.

This year's awards ceremony will be hosted by 'Best Friend' hitmaker Saweetie, who is also nominated under the Best New category.

The annual awards show recently announced their list of nominees which include K-pop icons like BTS, TWICE, LISA and ROSÉ of BLACKPINK, and NCT 127, popstars like Olivia Rodrigo, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and Dua Lipa, and Southeast Asian talents like JJ Lin, SB19, and Lyodra.

Leading the nomination list is Justin Bieber who is nominated in 8 categories. The 'Holy' hitmaker is up for Best Artist, Best Pop, and Biggest Fans, as well as Best Song for both 'Peaches' featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon, and 'STAY' with The Kid LAROI. The latter of which also got Justin nominated for Best Collaboration, while 'Peaches' also earned the singer a nomination for Best Video. 

Following Justin Bieber are Doja Cat and Lil Nas X with 6 nominations each – three of which include Best Song, Best Video, and Best Collaboration.

While 'Butter' hitmakers BTS are nominated in four categories – Best Pop, Best K-pop, Best Group, and  Biggest Fans. 

Olivia Rodrigo, who became a breakout pop sensation earlier this year, is making her MTV EMAs debut with nominations in five categories including Best Pop, Best Song for 'drivers license', Best New, Best Push, and Best US Act. 

Also making their award show debut are LISA and ROSÉof BLACKPINK, who are both up for Best K-pop.

MTV EMAs also has a Best Southeast Asia Act category which sees the likes of Singapore's JJ Lin, the Philippines' SB19, Thailand's Ink Waruntorn, Vietnam's K-ICM, Indonesia's Lyodra, and Malaysia's Naim Daniel.

Voting for this year's award show is now open via MTV EMAs' official website, until 10 November at 11:59 PM CET (11 November 5:59 AM SGT/PHT, 6:59 AM KST).
