KBS World is filling the stage with some of the biggest K-pop acts today for their 2020 KBS Song Festival. 

Scheduled for 18 December, 6:30PM (ID/TH Standard Time) or 7:30PM (PH/SG/MY Standard Time), more artists have been announced to perform at this year’s edition of Gayo Daechukje. They are namely GOT7, IZ*ONE, (G)I-DLE, Oh My Girl, ITZY, and aespa, revealed in a preview clip of the event posted by KBS World today (16/12).

This comes after the initial announcement of BTS, TWICE, SEVENTEEN, NCT, Park Jin Young and Sunmi, Kim Yeon Ja and Sul Woon Do, Jessi and GOT7’s Jackson, SHINee’s Taemin, and Paul Kim as part of the lineup. Hosted by TVXQ’s Yunho, Shin Ye Eun, and Cha Eun Woo, a total of 20 teams will be performing at the event.

BANDWAGON TV

While held yearly, the 2020 KBS Song Festival will be going on without a physical audience this year for the very first time. Under the theme Connect, the current edition will revolve around connecting artists and fans in a new way, as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. This will entail never-seen-before performances, alongside exciting collab stages, interactions, and more.

Fans can watch the 2020 KBS Song Festival on 18 December, 6:30PM (ID/TH Standard Time) or 7:30PM (PH/SG/MY Standard Time), on KBS World’s YouTube channel. A live talk show and photo wall event will take place before the concert, at 5PM (ID/TH Standard Time) or 6PM (PH/SG/MY Standard Time)
