Concerts in Manila 2019: A list of all the major concerts taking place this year

2018 was a massive year for music and live events that brought together foreign acts and audiences alike to the Philippines. From Sandwich's 20th-anniversary concert to LANY's first-ever arena shows, UNIQUE's impressive solo debut to the gathering of regional talent at All of the Noise, this past year marked great memories for music fans across the country.

Best Gigs of 2018

With the likes of The 1975, LANY, Two Door Cinema Club, Kodaline, LAUV, Troye SivanMaroon 5, and Slayer on their final world tour making waves toward Philippines shores in 2019, we can be sure to have another solid year of live music.

Taking Back Sunday

Taking Back Sunday are making their way to Asia for their 20th anniversary. Longtime fans are in for a treat as the band will be performing their debut album, Tell All Your Friends, in its entirety.

K-pop girl group BLACKPINK are making their Manila debut in 2019 as part of their World Tour [In Your Area]. Tickets to their first-ever Manila concert were sold out within hours of release.

Creative Nights: Gus Albor x CRWN

Ayala Museum and Bandwagon Philippines are bringing together two artists from two different creative mediums in a live collaboration between art and music. For 2019's first edition of Creative Nights, we're pairing up renowned minimalist artist Gus Albor and electronic musician CRWN.

When: February 8, 2019

Ely Buendia & The Itchyworms

Ely Buendia and The Itchyworms are coming together to hold a back-to-back concert dubbed The Greatest Hits this February.

New Zealand hardcore band Xile have announced their upcoming Southeast Asia tour, which includes stops in the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Josh Groban

Josh Groban the multi-platinum recording artist of 'You Raise Me Up' fame, will be returning to the Philippines for a one-night concert.

Pianos Become the Teeth

Pianos Become the Teeth, which is famed for its deeply emotive approach to the sound, is in the inner circle with other like-minded bands such as La Dispute and Touché Amoré, identifying as "The New Wave of Post-Hardcore."

Irish rock act Kodaline are heading back to Manila after their headlining stint at Wanderland 2018. The band is currently on their Politics of Living Tour.

Malasimbo 2019

Malasimbo returns for its 9th year and moves to its new home at White Beach, Puerto Galera this 2019.

Maroon 5

Maroon 5 are heading back to Asia in support of their latest record, Red Pill Blues. Their sixth studio album features collaborations with the likes of SZA and A$AP Rocky, as well as tracks co-written by Teddy Geiger and Charlie Puth. Their 2019 concert date will be the band's fifth visit to Manila.

Wanderland 2019

Wanderland Music and Arts Festival returns for their 7th edition in 2019 as a 2-day festival. The Phase One lineup reveal includes indie rock trio Two Door Cinema Club, trap house musician Masego, r&b singer JMSN, and more. More acts are expected to be unveiled soon.

The longest-running heavy metal festival in Southeast Asia returns for their 19th year in 2019. Legendary thrash metal act Slayer is set to headline the 19th edition of PULP Summer Slam.

The Story So Far

The five-piece are currently on tour in support of their fourth studio album, Proper Dose. Manila is The Story So Far's only Southeast Asian stop so far, along with confirmed tour dates in Japan and Australia.

Stray Kids

Stray Kids, K-Pop boyband behind the hits 'Hellevator,' 'District 9' and 'I Am You' are gearing up to Step Out into the Philippines this April.

In an announcement by PULP Live World on Sunday (01/20), the K-Pop boyband behind the hits 'Hellevator,' 'District 9' and 'I Am You' will be performing at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on April 27 (Saturday).

Jason Mraz is bringing his Good Vibes Tour to Manila in 2019. The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter will be making his way to the country for the third time - making his Manila debut in 2013 and returning for another concert in 2014.

Summer Noise 2019

The Rest Is Noise's midyear music show, Summer Noise, is heading outdoors for its second edition in 2019. TRIN co-founder Mary Christine Galang shares that they're "gearing up for a more exciting live music experience" for their summer festival.
